The Prenup was drafted by today's leading rabbis and scholars, led by Rabbi Mordechai Willig, Rosh Yeshiva at Yeshiva University and Segan Av Beth Din at the Beth Din of America.

 

The Prenup has been endorsed by leading Ashkenazic and Sephardic poskim, including Rabbi Zalman Nechemia Goldberg (Member, Beth Din of Yerushalayim), Rabbi Yitzchok Liebes, zt”l (former Av Beth Din, Iggud HaRabbonim), Rabbi Gedalia Dov Schwartz (Av Beth Din, Beth Din of America), and Rabbi Osher Weiss (Rosh Kollel, Machon Minchas Osher L’Torah V’Horaah). In 2012, twenty-one Roshei Yeshiva at Yeshiva University signed onto a kol koreh urging its leaders and students to use halachic prenuptial agreements at every Jewish wedding.

 

More recently, in 2019, the Rabbinical Council of America (RCA) launched their "I Support the Use of a Halachic Prenuptial Agreement" campaign, garnering 150 signatures from rabbis around the world.  View the entire list of rabbis here.
